CSS / HTML / PHP / JQery / Ecommerce / Developercontact Apply via Freelancers.net date posted 30/7/2010 Freshly Designed would like to build an ongoing relationship with a keen developer who is highly proficient in CSS / HTML / PHP, JQery, etc and on top has very good ecommerce experience - Sagepay integration / opensource carts / custom coding / CMS etc, Wordpress theme customisation skills a bonus.
We have been trading for just over a year now and are beginning to grow, and now consistently getting in too much work to handle. Normally this would be a good thing but when quality drops to cope with the traffic it's a very at odds with our usp. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and creating special websites, so anybody that comes on board would need to have a fairly good eye for design and know that we hate making compromises!
We would dearly love to find a self-sufficent developer who is reliable, enjoys the work, can handle tight deadlines, and can basically take a design in photoshop and do the rest. We have some really great projects coming up and this could even lead to a full-time role if that was attractive, alternatively just having a reliable freelancer on hand would make us very happy.
Our immediate priority is creating an online shop with backen CMS set up to go through Sagepay. Our normal programmer was due to create a custom PHP shop but has now got too much work on his hands on another project so we are looking for someone to come in with the same skills, or worst case implement a good off-the-shelf shopping cart system that would work for this particular design.
Please note we are a small design studio based 90 minutes out of town offering great value work at a reduced rate to the larger London based studios, so if you are applying for this role just for financial terms you may be dissapointed. :) Having said that we always pay our freelancers well above what we pay ourselves, and we pay on time, but a bit of flexibility would go a long way at the beginning of a successful relationship. Right now the quality and stability of work is our main goal, not the money, we'd like to find someone that buys into that vibe.
For more information please email jamie@freshlydesigned.co.uk and we can have a chat, thanks a lot. |
