date posted 15/7/2010 I'm a freelance PHP developer based in Northamptonshire in the UK. I would like to connect with other like-minded developers in the local area, preferably based in Northants or adjacent counties - Bedfordshire, Cambs, Oxon, etc. No overseas or long-distance connections please - need someone to meet up for a beer and bounce ideas around with now and them, without schlepping into London.
Let me write that big just to make it clear - LOCAL UK DEVELOPERS ONLY, PLEASE!
I would like occasional help on projects, and am happy to pay reasonable rates for someone good.
Good PHP, JavaScript and CSS required. Familiarity and enthusiasm for best practices, usability and accessibility are essential, but so is a realistic and pragmatic approach, attention to detail, flexibility, willingness to collaborate, good written english and so on!
If this is of interest please get in touch - I'm looking for people who are self-employed and interested in establishing a useful long-term relationship here; this isn't a fixed term contract or anything
You could be very experienced or just setting out; the level of experience is not as important as the desire to work on interesting things and do a good job.
