date posted 24/6/2010 Design to Communicate are looking to recruit a freelance UI designer initially on a short term basis (1-2 days per week or per project) but with the potential for a full-time role.
Your role will be to demonstrate and implement your experience in design psychology, practice and theory across websites and on-screen applications.
Your analysis and development of site maps, user flows/scenarios, wireframes and on-going analytic feedback will need to be communicated with other areas of our company, including working closely with the design and development team.
We're after an individual that has strong experience in working on web projects where conversion rates have been assessed and improved.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience with User Interface design and implementation
- Strong grounding in design theory, and human interaction/logic with on-screen media
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate design principles into web architecture and the design of user interfaces
- Skilled in user and task analysis, user research techniques, storyboarding, information architecture and site/application wireframing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and conceptual skills
